CANAL ZONE HORSEMEN'S ASSOCIATION
Atlantic Riding Club
Atlantic Riding Club was located right on the entrance to Gatun Locks. Huge ships steamed by on their way in and out of the lake.
Atlantic was mostly for pleasure riders, although some did attend area shows. A winding road led in from the highway into a large square. One side was occupied by the Main barn which was remodled in the 70s to make spacious stalls and a large tack room for lockers.

Along another side of the square was two outdoor stall barns with an entrance between them for the main pasture. Atlantic hosted a couple fun shows in the late 70s.
Out behind the main barn was a storage barn, and a smaller pasture. A trail in this pasture followed a power line all the awy out to the point in Limon Bay, with a huge automated lighthouse. A third pasture ou on the driveway long the highway also provided grazing.
